How to maintain CNC machine tools？
The accuracy of the lathe has been greatly improved from the earliest hand-cranked to the current CNC. The CNC machine tool not only improves the processing accuracy, but also greatly improves the production efficiency and reduces the labor cost. It is a new type of automatic machine tool. So how to maintain CNC machine tools, let's take a look below.
1. Daily maintenance
(1) Cleaning and precautions before starting the machine tool.
1) Pure water should be used for cooling water, and antifreeze should be added when the ambient temperature is lower than 10℃;
2) Cleaning of X and Y axis guides
3) Cleaning of ball screws and positioning pins and holes of turret;
4) Removal of residual waste on the lower turret
5) Please use compressed air to clean the automatic mold turning mechanism;
6) Clean the workbench;
7) Clear the waste in the waste bin;
8) Before starting the machine, the operator must remove the tools, parts or other sundries on the moving parts;
9) The sheet should be leveled, and the unevenness of the sheet should be less than 5mm. Processing hot-rolled steel plates must be leveled in advance, processing uneven or rusty and oxidized steel plates have a great impact on the life of the machine and the mold, so use less.
2. Regular maintenance
In addition to routine maintenance, the following regular inspections and maintenance work are also required.
1. Weekly maintenance
(1) Confirm that the machine tool will stop working when the protective door of the turret is opened.
(2) Whether the centralized lubrication system is working properly.
(3) Check whether the oil mist lubricator in the air system is working properly
2. Monthly maintenance
(1) Lubricate the X and Y axis bearings.
(2) Lubricate the X and Y axis ball screw nuts
(3) Clean the air filter in the control cabinet
3. Maintenance every season
(1) Lubricate the roller chain
(2) Check the tightness of the synchronous toothed belt
(3) Replace the pressure oil. After the machine tool is used for the first three months, the pressure oil and filter need to be replaced. After each year of use or 2000 hours of work, the pressure oil needs to be replaced.
