2, high grade slow wire edM machine
This kind of EDM machine is basically produced by Swiss and Japanese companies, with automatic wire threading function, no resistance anti-electrolytic power supply, the overall heat constant system, can use φ 0.07 mm electrode wire cutting, precision in ±0.003 mm, the highest processing efficiency can reach 300 mm 2/min above, surface roughness can reach Ra<0.2μm, It has the function of timely detection of workpiece section change and real-time optimization of discharge power. Such machine tools are also widely used in precision stamping die processing.
3, mid-range slow wire edM machine
The machine tools are generally manufactured by Swiss and Japanese companies in China's manufacturing plants, and some Taiwan-made machine tools are also of this level of technology. Their configuration and performance meet most of the requirements for precision wireline cutting in China. Generally, no resistance is used to prevent electrolytic power supply, with water-immersion processing, taper cutting function. Practical maximum processing efficiency of 150 ~ 200 mm 2/min, the best surface roughness Ra < 0.4μm, cutting accuracy up to ±0.005 mm, generally using φ 0.1 mm and more than the electrode wire for cutting, equipped with anti-collision protection system can avoid collision damage caused by programming errors or misoperation, equipped with or optional automatic wire threading mechanism.
4, entry-level slow wire edM machine
This edM machine tool is generally Taiwan machine tool or domestic independent research and development of the production of machine tool, its configuration and performance to meet the domestic common mold and parts processing requirements. The general use of cut a repair, cut a repair two process, can achieve a stable surface finish in Ra0.8μm or so, processing accuracy in ±0.008 mm, most can only use 0.15mm and above the electrode wire for cutting, processing of surface fine organization, corner and advanced machine tools have a certain gap.
