Principles of CNC Machining


The principle of CNC machining is also the CNC machining process: First, digitize the geometric information and process information on the processed part drawing, that is, the relative motion trajectory of the tool and the workpiece, the conversion of the spindle speed and feed rate during the machining process, and the switch of the coolant. The control and operations such as the transformation of workpieces and tools are compiled into processing programs according to the specified codes and formats, and then the programs are sent to the CNC system. The numerical control system first performs corresponding calculations and processing according to the requirements of the program; finally, it sends out control commands to coordinate the coordinate axes, spindles and auxiliary actions with each other to realize the relative power of the tool and the workpiece, and automatically complete the processing of the parts.


The six major devices that need to be paid attention to in CNC machining are:


1. Programming and program carrier. Numerical control program is the work instruction of CNC machine tool to automatically process parts;


2. Input device, the function of the input device is to transfer and store the numerical control code on the program carrier (information carrier) into the numerical control system;


3. Numerical control device, which is the core of CNC machine tools;


4. The drive device and the position detection device, the drive device accepts the instruction information from the numerical control device;


5. Auxiliary control device. The main function of the auxiliary control device is to receive the switch quantity command signal output by the numerical control device;


6. The machine tool body can meet the requirements of CNC machine tools and give full play to the CNC machine tools.
