In the long-term production practice, it is realized that in addition to the usual equipment and processing parameters, in the use of cutting fluid, the choice of different kinds of cutting fluid, the use of different concentrations of cutting fluid, the cleanliness of cutting fluid and the change of temperature will have a certain impact on the quality of reaming holes.
How to select cutting fluid?
Currently commonly used cutting fluids are generally divided into the following three categories: aqueous solution, emulsion and cutting oil.
In the reaming of carbon steel and alloy steel, because of the carbon steel and alloy steel has good machinability, in the process of processing will not produce a lot of cutting heat, chip deformation and fracture easily, the tool is not easy to wear, in order to reduce the workpiece surface roughness, the main cutting fluid for lubrication and cooling. When reaming at low speed, high concentration vulcanized emulsion should be used. A mixture of vulcanized oil and kerosene should be used for medium-speed reaming to increase lubricity.
