What is the difference between the rough turning outer circle and the fine turning outer circle of a CNC lathe?
A turning tool is a tool that has a cutting portion for turning operations. Turning tools are one of the most widely used tools in machining. The working part of the turning tool is the part that generates and handles chips, including the cutting edge, the structure that breaks or rolls up the chips, the space for chip removal or storage, and the passage of cutting fluid.
So, what is the difference between the rough turning outer circle and the fine turning outer circle of the CNC lathe?
1. Front angle: the rough turning angle is smaller, and the fine turning is larger.
2. Rear angle: the rough turning angle is small (6-8 degrees), and the fine turning angle is large (10-12 degrees).
3. Edge inclination: generally take 5 degrees for rough turning, and 10 degrees or more for large vibration;
Generally take -4 degrees when finishing the car.
4. Main declination angle: selected according to the rigidity of the machine tool-workpiece-tool process system.
5. Secondary declination angle: selected according to the surface finish, the declination angle is smaller when the requirement is high.
6. Tool nose arc radius: generally carbide turning tool r=0.5-2mm, take a small value for rough turning.
