How to set the discharge parameters of large copper power plant in EDM
There are standards for setting the discharge parameters of electric discharge （EDM） machine. What does copper mean? To put it simply, copper is the electrode for discharge processing of spark machine, and copper is the electrode for discharge processing of spark machine.
In die processing, there are many ways to set the discharge parameters of electric discharge machine for die processing, such as milling machine processing, grinding machine processing, machining center processing, wire cutting processing, lathe processing and discharge processing of spark machine and so on.
The coarse working current is generally set at 3 amps, and the pulse width is adjusted to 60~90 '120. If the size is not important, the current and pulse width can also be corresponding, first according to the copper male set parameters, and then gradually increase ON and IP, and increase MA or SB, until disconnection. Next thing you know, you'll know what to do.
The use of red copper electrode can improve the production efficiency and better stability. The loss of copper electrode is less than that of graphite electrode in finishing process. The copper electrode of spark machine is easy to produce precise and fine patterns, and the surface roughness is better than 1.25um when precision machining is used. Red copper electrode is suitable for EDM finishing electrode material.
The electric discharge machine has big copper discharge parameter setting, but the copper electrode has big toughness, so it has the disadvantage of poor machining performance and difficult grinding. Therefore, in the process of spark machining, it is very important to choose what material to make the electrode, according to the workpiece and processing conditions to choose the corresponding processing electrode, can get twice the result with half the effort.
